About me
Before joining the United States Coast Guard I knew I enjoyed building applications. I first started off by building basic HTML/CSS/JS projects in my free time. That was when I discovered mobile development. When I was able to hold my personal projects in a native application on my iPhone, I was hooked.While enlisted, I have developed and currently maintained 6 iOS applications on the app store. Technologies in those applications were SwiftUI, APIs, third-party software, CoreData, user analytics/notification Software Development Kits, and the Swift programming language.Currently, I am learning UIKit to further improve my knowledge of iOS application development.I have served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 consecutive years. During that time I have been onboard vessels patrolling the Bering Sea assisting with assuring best practices and sustainable fishing practices for fishing vessels, Along with, search and rescue for the first half of my career. In the second half of my service, I have been actively monitoring the connectivity of the Coast Guard as a network analyst."I knew from the moment I found my attachment for mobile development, I would always work hard developing projects I and many others enjoy. After building applications in SwiftUI, I now teach myself the essentials of UIKit to continue to build awesome applications."
